The photocell consists of a transmitter and a receiver with in-built LED signal lamps.
An infrared beam is sent by the transmitter, which creates an invisible barrier. If an obstacle appears in the zone where the photocell operates, the receiver reacts by switching the output relay and changing the status at the control unit input.
The optical signalling has also a warning function and makes locating your driveway in low visibility circumstances easier.
The receiver has NC and NO contacts that are secured with an additional relay.
The photocell is meant for operation within gate systems as an external component.
